Weekday spreads love with new collections

“It’s time to put love into practice.”

In a world increasingly in need of a little love, fashion has become an important vehicle for promoting compassion, diversity and awareness. In short, a way of speaking up. Affirming that now is the “time to put love into practice”, Weekday, in its new S/S18 jeans and Practice Love capsule collections, uses its platform to do just that: put empathy and compassion into action.

February 15 saw the launch of Weekday’s awaited S/S18 jeans collection. Inspired by the laid-back style of the early 90s with stiff fabrics, oversized fits, high waists and minimalist versions of vintage models, the new collection is definitely not one to be missed. With bleached and light blue denim as clear favourites this season, the new collection will underpin any Spring look, durable and by your side as you stride into the festival season.

Hand-in-hand with the release of fresh staples in the jeans line comes the release of the new print capsule collection, named Practice Love. Following the success of the “Love prints” in the A/W17 collection, with its own take on youth culture and street style, Weekday is now going one step further in using fashion as a messaging tool to promote love and compassion; we must now act. Offering an exciting new line of T-shirts, hoodies and underwear, get your hands on these must-haves and let love be the staple of your wardrobe.

PS. Weekday invites you to an evening of jeans customisation and screen printing this Thursday, February 22, in The Hague. Attend the event here.
