Let go of your ADE stress with MADE.COM

The design platform celebrates Amsterdam’s young nightlife icons.

Lion Kojo for MADE

We probably don’t have to tell you, but Amsterdam Dance Event is just around the corner. Hopefully you took some days off, because the festival programme is bursting with quality music events—which we’ll keep you posted about in the coming days. First, however, we’d like to introduce you to a collab you can check out any day from the 17th until the 21st of October.

Bringing together great music and great design, MADE.COM is celebrating Amsterdam nightlife for the duration of ADE and offers you a place to rewind when your feet (or ears) get tired. Need to release some tension? Enter Rokin 75, where the anti-ordinary design platform provides its showroom to sit back and relax. And in the meanwhile, get to know the brilliant night owls starring in MADE’s new campaign here.

Lion Kojo is a DJ with a profound love for music and he’s a lucky one; passion and work go hand in hand. On a daily basis he inspires both the cultural and music scene of Amsterdam. After moving from the hectic centre of Amsterdam to the city’s North, he now wholeheartedly embraces the peace and quiet of this area. He turned his house into the perfect place to unwind after a long day of chasing goals. Lion Kojo believes a serene, comfortable vibe is key to a safe haven. Taking the time to relax in his Patta slides—and some finger-licking food for a quick energy boost on the side—reflect his definition of ‘coming home’.

The young artist often returns to his mixtapes and radio sets after a well-deserved moment of rest. His clean apartment is a harmonious place, finished off with a lot of wood and personal items. Think: a limited number of accessories but loads of illustrations and photos on the walls—a meaningful collection the DJ has gathered over the years. He keeps his interior as structured as possible. The sleek and angular design MADE’s Oskar corner sofa and a gallery of Denver picture frames in metal complete this neat interior.
