After six mesmerising instalments, Dekmantel’s little big sister Lente Kabinet will be returning to ’t Twiske (near Amsterdam) on May 26 and 27 for its first weekend-long festival. Today, the festival’s illustrious makers have dropped this year’s long-awaited line-up.
While last year’s edition saw Lente Kabinet move towards more bands and live acts, this year is set to continue further in that spirit; inviting artists such as progressive R&B star and Glamcult cover girl Kelela, as well as jazz-funk sensation Kamaal Williams. Further, with rising DJs such as Peggy Gou and Oceanic playing alongside legends like Ghana’s Ebo Taylor, this year’s party sounds very promising.
The magic of Lente Kabinet laying in its perfect balance between calm and heavier musical moments, the energy is not one that can be easily replicated. With a broad cultural programme of arts and events, Glamcult is honoured to announce that we’ll be teaming up with Lente Kabinet to make this weekend one to remember. So, keep your eyes and ears open for more exciting news to come.
