SOPHIE's Star Continues to Burn Bright

The news that broke the internet and nearly brought us to tears – SOPHIE’s first and final posthumous album is officially set to be released in September. The statement writes that the artist had worked on it extensively before her tragic passing, and the body of work is now being finalised by her brother Benny Long.

Words will never begin to describe the mixture of deep sorrow and genuine excitement to feel close to SOPHIE’s unmatched sound again. Within this, the first track off the album, Reason Why, featuring Kim Petras and BC Kingdom, is a bass-stabbing summer anthem that will always carry a heavy bittersweetness. On this incredible occasion, we reminisce of having the absolute pleasure feature SOPHIE as our coverstar back in 2018 – to carry a part of her revolutionary spirit is the biggest honour.
