A match made in heaven…
What happens when two grunge gods unite? An instant classic was created, leaving the empire of footwear fanatics (…a.k.a. us) bedazzled, drooling and geeking out. The release of the reworked 1460 Bex platform sole boot on March 20th obviously resulted in an instant sell-out. And with the 74 year existence of Dr. Martens and 30 year career of Owens, we are left with only one question: why hadn’t this been done before?
The Bex boot has undergone the metamorphose of Owens’ iconic lacing technique, of which the laces have been dyed in the cool yet rich color that is light taupe. The platform boot has been beautifully finished with a dual-branded sock liner and zip closure, topped of with a touch of taupe and yellow double welt stitching (a classical combo). The Bex boot is only the start of a two-part journey. With the second edition to be released in May, catch us seated at the edge of our chairs until the time is there…
Stay tuned here!
