An EP filled with “cathartic self-care anthems”
Chinese-Scottish multi-hyphenate artist LVRA has officially revisited their acclaimed project soft like steel, this time sharing a new extended package ‘reforged’. The five-track EP is not only a reforging, but a reimagining of four classic soft like steel singles alongside a brand new track, pressure in which LVRA and Welsh DIY alt-pop proposition twst come together to create a radiant anthem intertwining the cosmic elements with the unique and celestial vocals of these two emerging pop icons. “twst and I are hustlers”, LVRA explains. “It’s something we’ve bonded over through some very therapeutic conversations, and I feel like this track is our cathartic self-care anthem.” On the EP, LVRA also presents the gradual Feel It Mix of soft like steel, AKA. The club track taking over our playlists. DJ and producer Aloka also presents a razor-sharp reinterpretation of the EP’s opening track, welcome, infusing it with a touch of UK techno-inspired grit.
