Glamcult selects: Our Lente Kabinet music must-listens ?

From reggae to house and everything in between and around…

You all know by now, Glamcult loves a party and Lente Kabinet is here to provide. The multi-faceted festival this June (4-5th) has us ready to go, dropping the lineup of all line-ups last week. Now, as tough as it was to be selective – we have done our very best – picking our studio must-sees and where you will find Glamcult at the party. From the global soundtrack of Coco Maria to the trend-defying beats of Bradley Zero, welcome to our select and don’t be shy to check out the full line-up here.

Ben UFO

The notorious Ben UFO will never not be on our go-to lists. Having emerged on the UK dubstep scene way back when, he has spearheaded many a night out in Leeds. Since then Ben UFO has had somewhat of a musical shift, broadening his selection and exploring the worlds of house and garage (but of course, maintaining a dub root). As one of the co-founders of Hessle Audio, Ben has been committed to the dance floor for the past two decades though continues to sound fresher than ever.

Coco Maria

Our Monday-Wednesday mornings would not be the same without the radiating sounds of Coco Maria’s radio show on Worldwide FM. With every “Buenos Dias”, comes a new day and a new smile as she takes us on a world tour through Brazil, the Caribbean, South America and well, anywhere with an irresistible beat. Finding, compiling and sharing with us all her rarities, Coco Maria is the gem Amsterdam holds tightly and one we cant wait to see live in action.

Peach

Hot on the scene, DJ Peach is a must-see at this year’s festival. The Toronto-raised, London-based talent has been on a journey we couldn’t help but notice, keeping us company on NTS Radio. Exploring the realms of house, techno, disco, electro and more, Peach is a chef in a flavourful kitchen – serving everything up with positive vibes only. Having already hit the club-scene Peach is a crowd-pleaser who always has an audience, and has also produced music and been featured on the iconic Leon Vynehall’s DJ-KICKS mix.

Antal

Amsterdam’s renowned Rush Hour founder, Antal is the DJ to it all, intersecting house, techno, disco and… well, whatever he is in the mood for. Having been on the scene since the 90s Antal is a master of his craft, running the Rush Hour label and much-loved store. His music is filled with soul and evokes inspiration from every corner.

Bradley Zero & Elias Mazian

Next up is the Leeds-born, London-based DJ, radio host and the founder of Rhythm Section, Bradley Zero. A tastemaker on the vibrant UK scene, Zero has been a fixture of London’s best nights since starting his show. Known as part of the original boiler room team, Zero has gone on the release never-ending crafted tunes. The Rythm Section beat has spread far and wide and continues to strengthen alongside BBC icons such as Gilles Peterson and Mary Anne Hobbs. At the core is the love of music, sharing his passion with his audience and devout following. Alongside Bradley Zero is Holland’s own, Elias Mazian. A connoisseur of Dutch nightlife, the Mazian x Zero cacophony is one we can’t wait to sink our teeth into.

Eris Drew

From the windy city itself, Chicagoan, Eris Drew has been a love Glamcult has never let go of. Running the T4T LUV NRG record label alongside the incredible Octa Octa, Drew is an artist in her own right. Beginning her journey in the early 90s at 18, her approach to a rave is powerful and transformative. Familial with this fact, alongside DJ-ing and producing, Drew also gives talks about the experience, community and is an advocate for trans/non-binary/Queer folk. House is her “motherbeat”, infantilising ravers around the world.

Equiknoxx (live)

The Kingston collective transformed the dancehall sound. From classic reggae to R&B, electro and trap Equiknoxx is the fivesome we all wish we were a part of. Known to us after hearing the highly contagious Basic Tools Mixtape, their live x DJ crossover is eclectic and eccentric, keeping you on your toes and ALWAYS ready to hear more…
