“Best of both worlds”
This season, the Dutch design scene embraces a new Scandinavian arrival with the NO GA pop-up. Sweden’s boundary-pushing multi-brand destination made its debut in Amsterdam last week – and Glamcult welcomed them warmly (and loudly!). Known for iconic pieces (think the Togo and Cassina!!!) and curation, keep reading to find out why NO GA’s pop-up gallery is where it’s at.
To kick things off right, NO GA joined forces with Glamcult Selects for an all night programme. The evening began at the NO GA showroom (Rozenstraat 59) a beautiful space dedicated to interior design genius, featuring special edition pieces and a platform for emerging talents like Simon Mattisson and Axel Wannberg. Resembling in equal parts an art gallery opening and a houseparty, the evening had the best of both worlds – we got to admire sculpture-like furniture while sipping wine on designer B&B couches, all in great company. We also can’t forget the exclusive mirror installation by Nicole Khadibi, making an illuminating first impression the second you enter the space. As for the sounds, our Amsterdam local heroes USBEA, TIZI, and PASSION DEEZ set the perfect atmosphere.
However, we didn’t get too cosy—this pop-up had plans. Energised by the pre-party affair, the event spilled over to TILLATEC for an unfiltered club night featuring Salome, Saint Ludo, J-ZBEL, and Nakanoblu. Scroll for FOMO.
If you missed out, the pop-up is still open until November 17th!
