Dystopian? Yes. An exceptional example of sonic exploration? Also yes.
Today, COUCOU CHLOE announced as a part of the release of her newest musical project, FEVER DREAM, her second single, ICE CASTLES; a twisted dancefloor must created alongside Kai Whiston and teenage rapper, Matt Ox. Dystopian? Yes. An exceptional example of sonic exploration? Also yes.
Following the first single DRIFT, COUCOU CHLOE continues to take us down the spectral path of strung-out vocals and mesmeric production. Described as “more impassioned and club-driven than ever”, FEVER DREAM features iconic artists ranging from our gal’ Eartheater, 654AR, Woesum, Brodinski, Tony Seltzer and Kai Whiston. Across the mixtape, COUCOU CHLOE showcases her technical skillset and artistic vision, while simultaneously plunging even deeper into her identity as an artist and human being.
DRIFT and ICE CASTLES can be seen as the very first chapters of the incredible journey that is COUCOU CHLOE, a story yet to be told and we can’t wait to listen to.
