Fundraising for urgent aid in Somalia and Nigeria, the pair join forces and are “Better Together”
Skateboard-centric brand POP Trading Company and fundraising platform Clothes for Progress are coming together this Thursday (the 10th) in Amsterdam for their collective venture, “Better Together”. This clothing collaboration, hosted at Café40, is in aid of the UN’s locally managed Somalian and Nigerian Humanitarian funds. To help them reach their goal of supporting the communities that have been hit the hardest by the climate crisis, the pair will be releasing a collection of printed tees, shirts, polos and hoodies featuring an empty plastic water bottle to signify the devastating droughts in Somalia and floods in Nigeria.
The collection is made entirely of dead stock and prototype bases to ensure it is as sustainable as possible and has also been hand-printed using eco-friendly ink provided by Twee Jongens (a fellow Amsterdam company). This is a limited edition collection and will be on sale from November 10th during the event, and any remaining pieces will be available online via Clothes for Proggress’ platform and POP’s flagship store.
