One of this year’s most anticipated collections has finally dropped, and you guessed it… it’s the latest ASICS X Kiko Kostadinov trainer design. Paying tribute to the ASICS Institute of Sport Science (Aka. ISS), this shoe is about the team’s internal commitment to “human-centric science” through intelligent design and an inspired ethos. Named, GEL-QUANTUM tm ZIENTZIA by Kiko Kostadinov, this ISS-driven shoe comes in an iconic utilitarian blue with silver highlights and a deep black base tone.
Described as an optimiser and enhancer of the sport style lifestyle, the GEL-QUANTUM tm ZIENTZIA is built with shock absorption, a reinforced heel and performance-level support (I mean, there’s nothing quite like the comfort of an ASICS is there!)
The campaign, shot in the ASICS ISS building in Japan, showcases the shoe on life-long members of the brand’s team from researchers, and developers, to the designers themselves. This really is ‘behind-the-scenes’, except the usual backstage chaos is not the case: rather a science-centric lab showing us all the details that go behind ASICS.
