ADE Picks for our 365 Party Girls

“Back to, back to, back to, back to”

If you are in need of any last-last-minute ADE recs or if you’re just looking to get inspired keep reading as we spill what’s on our radar this week.

To kick off on the right note (no pun intended), Parallel is hosting Feels Right, a club night that promises a mosaic of sounds from Baile Funk to Middle Eastern club edits, and from UK Garage to African electronic rhythms, with one common feature “as long as it feels right”. If you’re familiar with the Dutch club scene you will immediately recognise some of our favourites such as the loveliest Tida Kamara and Jolani Jhones.

On the same evening, Jersey, the French brother duo you’ve been searching for is playing at Tolhuistuin. First landing on our radar with their remix of Le Code and their intimate Parisian apartment sets, Jersey has this unique gift of crafting an atmosphere that becomes a celebration of connection and pure bliss. Their Aphex Twin-style covers certainly make them stand out and tease the mystery behind their sound. Jersey’s boiler room-esque parties with titles such as – We play music in the crowd until something breaks – marks them as unmissable.

For those looking to dive deeper into the experimental side of music at ADE, John Glacier playing at Melkweg is a must. Hailing from London’s underground, Glacier brings a unique fusion of rap, punk, and electronic sounds, where the lyrics flow seamlessly and the rhythm continues until there’s nothing left to say. Her debut album SHILOH captivated us with its raw, lo-fi beats, but her latest release, Duppy Gun, takes a more upbeat direction. Her live performance promises a mix of reflection and spirit, showcasing music to dance to—but also music to *feel*.

(For those in the fashion-meets-music world, you’ll recognize her collaborations with brands like Burberry and Farfetch, showcasing how she’s carving out space across multiple industries.)

Emerging from Berlin, the Live From Earth collective foregoes the techno rulebook. Injecting vivid, daring energy onto the dancefloor by weaving elements of dance, pop, hip-hop, gabber, and hardcore into a dynamic soundscape. LFE flagship MCR-T, a true master of doing things his own way, delivers a taste of the collective’s unique magic with a list of cheeky b2b’s. Especially standing out from the bubbling musical microcosmos Diora goes b2b with Slimfit — We cannot wait for this sexy, bass-heavy, and uptempo crossover!

By far one of our most anticipated events is Breakfast Club’s three-day long triathlon. Kicking off on Friday morning at Plekk the program features dining and dancing! What particularly caught our attention is on Saturday it’s Trouble² at Benelux bar with a powerful encounter—or perhaps a collaboration—of titans from their respective sound realms. The Animalia and Esmero collective will each present their unique sound. Alongside the Amenthia crew, Swiss sound alchemists that seamlessly blend organic and synthetic elements in their music. Their releases emerging from the land house create a mesmerising fusion that departs from classic techno.

After this 7 to 7, we cycle towards the last stage of ADE with an All Day B2B hosted by Intercell. The emerging DJ Gigola is at the top of our wanna-see wishlist, with their unique “multilanguage/genrefluid” style, inviting us into a world where genres meld and boundaries softly blur. Part — dancing queen, part playboy (yes, really), DJ Gigola will be spinning tracks that flirt shamelessly with both dance and pop — having us fall in love again and again.
