featuring Amsterdam-based artist Mariposa
ASICS and Glamcult have united creative forces to bring a new interpretation to the GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII. This collaboration combines ASICS’ commitment to innovation and durability with Glamcult’s unapologetic identity. As a pioneering Japanese label, ASICS has been leading the way in redefining sports apparel for nearly half a century.
Glamcult has gained a crucial position in the front lines of avant-garde culture, and for this collaboration, we went beyond the mere product. As it is part of our unapologetic identity, we curated a vision alongside the trainers. The video clip is the narrator of this creative force. From featuring Amsterdam-based artist Mariposa, to the set completely covered with our Glamcult logo, this video showcases the fine line between dreams, reality and obsession. We aimed at highlighting an unnegotiable part of our ethos that lays in the curation of a worldwide underground essence.
This collaboration marks a new chapter for Glamcult, combining its own dashing design with ASICS dynamic character and Mariposa’s electrifying sounds. Make sure to check out her latest single BOGOTA, releasing today with our collaboration!
The perfect mix between the innovation and comfort of ASICS GEL-QUANTUM 360 VIII sneakers and our special touch: front pocket add-ons, styled with a unique Glamcult tape print as an extension of our take on logomania. The Glamcult tape pattern is our ironic but honest interpretation of overbranding obsessions.
