With our millennial generation now representing more than a third of the Dutch national electorate, it’s more important than ever to consider the importance of your vote. With a general cynicism to international politics at an all-time high, now is not the time to stand back. Your voice counts.
Uniting with Get Me, we have produced the collaborative VOTE2017 project. As a temporary platform for independent voices, Glamcult and Get Me are hosting live debate sessions and a video series to explore issues that urgently need a voice. With the Dutch general election coming up fast, VOTE2017 is here to consider how (not) voting directly affects your daily life.
We have teamed up with an exciting list of young international voices affiliated with our ideals, and asked them to express what’s at stake. Each video—recorded by the likes of music artist Cata.Pirata, design studio Pinar&Viola and Boiler Room’s Errol Anderson—stands as an honest reminder of how we are all affected by politics.
In addition, we want to find out what your ideal world looks like. That’s why we created The Political Utopia, a triptych of surveys on politics, culture and economics. What is your vision? Fill out the surveys, and speak up.
